Aniket Vishwasrao is best known for his work in Marathi cinema. He made his screen debut in Sudhir Mishra’s Hindi movie Chameli and first appeared in Marathi cinema with Lapoon Chhapoon (2007). In 2011, he achieved popularity with the release of Fakt Ladh Mhana.
Vishwasrao was educated at Saint Francis D’Assisi High School in Mumbai and continued his studies at M. L. Dahanukar College. For many years, Vishwasrao was in a relationship with Marathi actress Pallavi Subhash. In December 2014, Pallavi confirmed their split.
Vishwasrao has appeared in both TV serials and films, though he is best known for his role as Alex in Mahesh Manjarekar’s Fakt Ladh Mhana, which was directed by cinematographer Sanjay Jadhav

Aniket Vishwasrao has acted in well known films like Hawa Aane Dey, Spandan, No entry Pudhe Dhoka Ahe. The actor has also worked with the theatre for many years now. We have also seen in television serials like Oon Paus and anchored shows like Maharashtrachya Superstar and television serials Eka Peksha Ek. His Bol Baby Bol, a family comedy drama released in November 2014.
Aniket’s Movie No Entry : Pudhe Dhoka Ahe was a major blockbuster in 2012. He played husbands role in this movie. He has also been a part of the critically acclaimed film Hawa Aane Dey. This was his international project. It won many international awards including Special Jury Mention (Hong Kong International Film Festival). Aniket acted in the Kareena Kapoor starrer Chameli in the year 2003. In the film in which Kareena played a street prostitute he played a very small role that went unnoticed.
Aniket also shared the screen with the well known Blooywood actor Ashutosh Rana in the movie ‘Yeda’.
Later Aniket played the leading role in Dhamak, this movie was an action drama that was a moderately successessful. Anikit also worked with Swapnil Joshi , Girja Joshi and veterans like Ashok Saraf and Vandana Gupte in the movie Andhal Koshimbir .
In 2014, he was a part of the comedy flick Poster Boys produced by Shreyas Talpade. In the film that was based on the subject of male vasectomy, Anikit played a young man who is engaged but is wrongly accused of undergoing vasectomy. By this movie he once again proved his humor. His recent films include Spandan, Saawraiya .com, Laadi Godi and many more.
Soon we will be seeing him in a upcoming Marathi movie ‘Baghtos Kay Mujra Kar’ as Pandurang Shinde.
